The motif of the pomegranate and Persephone speaks on the cycle of living and dying. The pomegranate is the fruit of the underworld, which entices Persephone and keeps her from leaving the underworld by her will. The dark shape in the surface of this work threatens to envelop the figure as she indulges.

    Artwork in original condition can be returned up to 30 days after the buyer has recieved it. Shipping costs for returns are the responsibilty of the seller. Artwork must be packaged and shipped by UPS in order to receive a refund for the cost of the artwork. 

    If the artwork is damaged in shipping I will work with you to figure out the best solution.
