The most important part of the process I go through with any painting is the beginning stages. The first pass through involves activating the surface through blocking out larger areas of color; with figurative works I also will give the figure some sort of grounding, whether it be through a shadow or a shape to frame the figure.
In this work there is a series of shapes that show a glimpse into an almost "alternate universe" using different colors and changing the light, although not distorting the figure herself.

Return Policy
Artwork in original condition can be returned up to 30 days after the buyer has recieved it. Shipping costs for returns are the responsibilty of the seller. Artwork must be packaged and shipped by UPS in order to receive a refund for the cost of the artwork.
If the artwork is damaged in shipping I will work with you to figure out the best solution.
